KUALA LUMPUR (March 22): A third “datuk” has been held by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the sale of land in Ijok to private developers.

The 53-year-old director was nabbed yesterday after he returned from a trip to Bangkok, according to a Star Online report

He is the seventh person, aged between 34 and 84, to be held in remand in connection with the case involving 880 ha of land valued at RM1.18 billion. There was a father and son among them.

The order which will last until March 28 was issued by Magistrate Ainna Sherina Saipolamin.
