PETALING JAYA (Feb 23): The Minister of Finance Incorporated (MKD) has announced the appointment of Datuk Sri Mohammad Mentek (pictured) as the non-independent non-executive chairman of Syarikat Perumahan Negara Bhd (SPNB) effective Jan 31, 2019.

Mohammad Mentek is also the secretary-general of the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT), a position he has held since 2015. He is a Statistics and Mathematics graduate from the University of  Minnesota, US.

Meanwhile, the director general (Administrative and Diplomatic Office) of KPKT's National Housing Department, Jayaselan Navaratnam has been appointed as a board member of SPNB effective Feb 8, 2019.
