PETALING JAYA (May 8): Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has won a RM162-million contract to carry out building works for a high-rise serviced apartment project in Johor.
The job was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, by Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd. The project is located along Jalan Tenteram, Johor Bahru.
According to its stock exchange filing today, the contract involves the construction of a 47-storey tower comprising 732 serviced apartment units, nine levels of podium parking, a basement floor with mechanical and electrical (M&E) facilities, a commercial unit and three levels of recreational space.
Work is scheduled to begin on Aug 1, and is expected to be completed within 36 months.
