KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 26): Property firm UOA Development Bhd (KL:UOADEV) said on Tuesday its net profit surged 50% in the second quarter from a year earlier, thanks to progressive revenue from four projects.

Net profit for the three months ended June 30, 2025 (2QFY2025) was RM91.71 million, or 3.5 sen per share, according to an exchange filing. Revenue for the quarter rose 31% year-on-year to RM130.16 million.

The ongoing development projects, Bamboo Hills Residences, Aster Hill and Laurel Residence, and a medical centre in Bangsar South, contributed to revenue for the quarter.

For the first six months, net profit amounted to RM165.66 million, up 50% when compared to the same period last year. Revenue totalled RM282.27 million, an increase of 67% from the same six months of 2024.

New property sales totalled RM413.0 million during the period, which mainly came from the Bamboo Hills Residences, Laurel Residence, Aster Hill and Duo Tower. Unbilled sales were about RM888 million.

No dividend was announced.

At Tuesday's closing, the stock was up one sen at RM1.76, giving the group a market value of RM4.67 billion.
