KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 26): Warisan Tradisi Sdn Bhd has named CoBnB Sdn Bhd as the primary short-term rental and co-living operator for its latest serviced apartment project, The Skies Kuala Lumpur (The Skies), through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on Sept 19.

Warisan Tradisi is the developer of The Skies, while CoBnB is a technology-driven short-term rental and property management firm with a nationwide presence in Malaysia.

“By partnering with CoBnB, we are transforming The Skies into more than just another residential tower,” said Warisan Tradisi director Ahmad Nazri Zaini. “We are offering buyers a unique proposition: a home designed to serve as both a modern living space and a high-performing investment.”

The Skies is a 42-storey serviced apartment development located on Jalan Cheras, comprising 303 units ranging from 550 to 800 sq ft. Designed for investment performance and city living, the project features dual-key layouts, smart-home features and premium facilities such as a rooftop sky pool, sky gym, floating cinema, halotherapy sauna and EV charging stations. Completion is targeted for early 2029.

“This appointment reinforces our vision of redefining how investors and homeowners unlock value from their properties,” said CoBnB co-founder Glenn Wong. “The Skies is uniquely suited for short-term rental and co-living due to its layouts, location, and amenities. With our in-house technology, we will ensure owners have real-time transparency into performance while guests enjoy a five-star experience.”

The partnership marks one of the first instances in Kuala Lumpur where a serviced apartment development is designed and marketed from inception as an investment-ready property with integrated professional management.

CoBnB will provide end-to-end operational oversight including occupancy and yield optimisation, with owners given real-time access to performance dashboards.

Buyers at The Skies will benefit from dual-key and flexible layouts intended to maximise rental potential.

The development is located opposite Sunway Medical Centre Velocity and within walking distance of both MRT and LRT stations.

The Skies is the final phase of Warisan City View’s urban development in the area, following the construction of 13 residential towers since 1996.
