KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 18): NCT Group of Companies, through its subsidiary NCT Land Sdn Bhd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Speedex Express Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd to provide integrated logistics solutions at the NCT Smart Industrial Park.
Group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy said the collaboration reflects NCT Group’s efforts to strengthen the park’s operational backbone and support investor scalability.
“Our solutions at NCT Smart Industrial Park continue to grow and evolve in line with our vision to develop a future-ready industrial ecosystem,” said Yap.
“With Phase 1 nearing completion and almost 100% sold, the addition of Speedex to our partner network is timely as it enables NCT Smart Industrial Park to offer a complete and efficient logistics proposition that directly supports business growth and competitiveness.”
Speedex is the first logistics partner of the industrial park and will offer sea, air, and land freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and inventory management services.
Its director Naresh Kumar Sundram said: “We are proud to partner with NCT Smart Industrial Park, a progressive development that is redefining how businesses operate. Through this partnership, we are committed to delivering agile and dependable logistics solutions that complement NCT Smart Industrial Park’s state-of-the-art infrastructure.”
The 730-hectare NCT Smart Industrial Park, launched in 2023 with a gross development value of RM7.9 billion, is Malaysia’s first certified managed industrial park.
It is strategically located near Port Klang and Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminals 1 and 2, and is being developed in five phases.
