KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 18): Nestcon Bhd (KL:NESTCON) has secured a RM355 million contract to construct two 57-storey serviced apartment blocks in northern Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract, awarded by Inter Sky Development Sdn Bhd, marks Nestcon’s sixth major project win so far this year.

It brings the group’s total contract wins year-to-date to approximately RM810.43 million.

Construction work for the project, located off the Middle Ring Road 2 in Taman Wahyu, is scheduled for completion within 34 months, with the targeted completion date set for Sept 14, 2028.

A 27-month defect liability period will follow upon practical completion, Nestcon added.

Nestcon shares closed unchanged at 30.5 sen on Tuesday for a market capitalisation of RM230.64 million.
