KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 19): Haily Group Bhd (KL:HAILY) has secured two construction contracts worth a combined RM80.3 million for residential projects in Taman Bestari Perdana, Plentong, Johor Bahru.
In separate bourse filings on Wednesday, the Johor-based construction outfit said its wholly-owned unit Haily Construction Sdn Bhd accepted both Letters of Award from Meridin East Sdn Bhd.
The first contract, valued at RM49 million, covers the construction of 222 double-storey terrace houses, while the second contract, worth RM31.3 million, involves building 146 double-storey terrace houses.
Both contracts are firm-price agreements, with no fluctuation in costs allowed.
Each project carries a defects liability period of 27 months from issuance of the certificate of practical completion.

Shares in Haily closed up 0.5 sen or 2.33% at 22 sen on Wednesday, valuing the company at RM93.1 million. Year to date, the counter has fallen by 12%.
