KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 24): Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (KL:MRCB) has signed a joint venture memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Saudi Arabia’s RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company to explore collaborative opportunities within the King Salman Gate development in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
According to a press statement issued on Monday (Nov 24), the MOU was signed during the Cityscape Global 2025 exhibition held in Riyadh from Oct 17 to 20, where RUA AlHaram AlMakki participated as a foundation partner.
RUA AlHaram AlMakki, owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, is the master developer of King Salman Gate, a mixed-use development project adjacent to AlMasjid AlHaram.

RUA AlHaram AlMakki said the joint ventures signal its intent to attract international participation in shaping future developments in Makkah.
The King Salman Gate project aims to support Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening Makkah’s global position as a cultural and economic destination.
Its immersive exhibition booth at Cityscape Global attracted thousands of visitors and showcased visuals of the King Salman Gate masterplan alongside tributes to Makkah’s heritage.
