SHAH ALAM (Dec 1): Myra, the residential arm of Oriental Interest Bhd (KL:OIB), has unveiled Myra Senja, a mixed-used development in Shah Alam, and has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Panasonic Malaysia to equip the open-market units at Myra Senja with a curated package of energy-efficient appliances.
Under the partnership, each open-market unit will come with four inverter air-conditioners, electric water heaters and a 90cm induction hob with hood. According to the press release, the larger four-bedroom units will include a front-loading washer-dryer combo and a multi-door refrigerator for a limited introductory period.
“We aim to provide something substantial without being too restrictive. People should have the freedom to create and design their own spaces, so we focus on what really matters—giving them a fully functional kitchen and the necessary appliances. Hence, you don’t have to spend too much time sourcing them,” said Myra chief people and growth officer Akil Hassan at the signing ceremony, adding that the developer is exploring the possibility of introducing smart home integration with Panasonic for future projects.

“We are delighted to collaborate on sustaining homes with high-quality electrical products. Residents can enjoy an improved lifestyle, better appliance choices and greater comfort in their own homes,” said Panasonic Malaysia associate director Tharmaseelan Kandasamy at the same event.
Located in Subang 2, Shah Alam, Myra Senja is a leasehold development comprising three 20-storey residential towers—Towers A, B and C—and a 74,432 sq ft retail component on the ground floor. The project has an estimated gross development value of RM400 million.
Each tower will house 192 units, for a total of 576 units, where there will be 12 units per floor. Of this total, 96 units with built-ups of 556 sq ft will be designated as Rumah Mampu Milik, priced from RM270,000.
The remaining open-market units will have built-ups of 1,101 to 1,409 sq ft, with three- and four-bedroom layouts, and start from RM658,000 to RM988,200. The development is slated for completion in 2029.
Facilities include a landscaped podium, a 25-metre lap pool, water play areas, a reading room, badminton courts, and outdoor fitness spaces.
Located within Subang 2, Myra Senja is surrounded by mature neighbourhoods such as Kota Damansara and Ara Damansara, and is a two-minute drive from DASH (Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway).
