PETALING JAYA (Dec 4): Ehsan Bina Group topped out its high-rise residential development named ForestHill Residences in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya, on Thursday. The project is 85% taken up.

With a gross development value of RM490 million and spread across a 4.39-acre tract, ForestHill Residences comprises two towers—Tower A with 38 storeys and Tower B with 35 storeys, offering a combined 618 units. The units have built-ups ranging from 953 to 1,527 sq ft and selling prices start from RM650 psf. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.

The development is built on rehabilitated land that was a former wasteland where quarrying activities took place.

In her opening address, Ehsan Bina chief financial officer Jamie Lai said, “As both the developer and builder, we maintain full control over quality, cost and timelines. This integrated approach has enabled us to stay on schedule despite recent market challenges.”

However, Lai said the project’s site was one of the most challenging they have worked on. “This was initially a wasteland, it was full of rocks. It took us a year just to blast the rocks before preparing the land for development.”

Lai hopes the government will be able to provide incentives for property developers who turn wastelands into developments.

ForestHill Residences is accessible via the Damansara-Puchong Expressway, Sprint Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway and the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway. It is about 4km away from the MRT Mutiara Damansara station.
