KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): Engineering services provider Pasukhas Group Bhd (KL:PASUKGB) has secured a RM63.6 million contract to build a data centre in Johor Bahru.

In a bourse filing, Pasukhas said its wholly-owned Midtown Engineering Sdn Bhd had on Monday received a letter of appointment from “one of the leading multinational technology corporations headquartered in the US”, without disclosing the client’s identity.

The contract value is equivalent to about 5.6 times its market capitalisation of RM11.4 million on Monday.

Scheduled to commence on Jan 1, 2026 and be completed by Jan 30, 2027, Pasukhas said the contract marks a significant milestone in its strategic business expansion and is expected to strengthen the group’s revenue base and financial position upon completion.

Beyond mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering services, the group—through its subsidiaries—is also involved in civil engineering and construction, the manufacturing of low-voltage switchboards and equipment, sand trading, renewable energy, as well as property development, property investment and investment holding, according to its annual report.

Pasukhas has been in the red since 2018. For the 15 months ended Sept 30, 2025, Pasukhas posted a net loss of RM36.24 million on the back of revenue of RM103.71 million. The group has changed its financial year end from June 30 to Dec 31.
