SHAH ALAM (Dec 18): I-Bhd (KL:IBHD) has soft-opened its AI World Experience Centre on Thursday at its 72-acre i-City development in Shah Alam, Selangor. The AI World Experience Centre will be officially opened to public on Jan 13, 2026.

During the opening ceremony, i-City director Datuk Eu Hong Chew said the experience centre serves as a learning platform for visitors about artificial intelligence (AI).

”This centre is not just about showcasing AI and robotics technology. It is about building understanding, sparking curiosity and preparing our community, especially our young people, for a future shaped by artificial intelligence and robotics… At its core, the AI Experience Centre is an education space. Not education defined by exams, but by exploration, interaction and hands-on discovery,” said Eu.

The experience centre was developed in collaboration with AgiBot, a humanoid robotics company headquartered in Shanghai, China. The centre features 100 humanoid robotics that expose visitors to how AI can be embedded into future residential, commercial, wellness and lifestyle environments in i-City.

Through interactive exhibitions and live demonstrations, the experience centre reflects I-Bhd’s broader strategy of integrating technology into daily life, such as smart facilities management and hospitality services, to wellness support and intelligent environments.

Besides that, the developer will also advance its plan to deploy Robotics-as-a-Service across its investment property portfolio to integrate AI-driven automation into property management, hospitality, lifestyle and asset operations. This will help to improve operational efficiency, user experience and create recurring income streams.
