PETALING JAYA (Jan 5): Malton Bhd has opened the Mutiara Kempas Sales Gallery in Johor Bahru, offering an early preview of its upcoming freehold serviced apartments in Iskandar Malaysia with easy access to Singapore for urban professionals.

Malton Bhd executive director Datuk Hong Lay Chuan said building on Malton’s proven success in the Klang Valley and its established presence in Johor with the 196-acre Rapid City Centre township located in the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC), Mutiara Kempas will be benchmarked against the company’s well-received projects.

“These notable projects include the award-winning 50-acre Bukit Jalil City township, River Park in Bangsar South, Duta Park Residences along Jalan Kuching, and Mutiara Hilltop in Puchong,” he said in a statement.

Mutiara Kempas is located on a 2.8-acre site along Jalan Kempas Baru, in an established residential area with a wide range of amenities nearby, including retail, dining, entertainment, healthcare, and education.

Key destinations include Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, AEON Mall Bandar Dato’ Onn, Kempas Medical Centre, Starhill Golf & Country Club, LUCA International School, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

The development is accessible via the North–South Expressway (NSE) and Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL).

It is also 1.5km from the KTM Kempas Baru Station, which will provide shuttle services to Johor Bahru’s CIQ complex and connect to Singapore through the future Rapid Transit System (RTS), supporting both daily commuting and cross-border travel.
