KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 6): WORQ has launched WORQ Well, a new people-first coworking sub-brand, at Aspire Tower in KL Eco City on Thursday, achieving full occupancy on its first day of operations.

According to a press statement issued on Thursday, the facility spans 34,300 sq ft and accommodates up to 500 members, offering amenities and facilities such as a full-size swimming pool and direct access to LRT and KTM stations.

With this addition, WORQ’s total space under management has grown to 340,000 sq ft, reinforcing its position as the largest coworking space provider in the Klang Valley.

Developed in collaboration with S P Setia Bhd (KL:SPSETIA), WORQ Well is the first coworking space in Malaysia to receive the WELL Coworking Rating from the International WELL Building Institute, in partnership with The Instant Group.

“This is our most ambitious project yet, designed to help businesses attract and retain top talent, and drive stronger organisational performance,” said co-founder and CEO of WORQ Stephanie Ping in the statement.

She added that the launch strengthens WORQ’s transit-oriented coworking network, which has seen the share of members commuting by public transport rise from 20% in 2017 to 50% currently.

WORQ plans to grow the WORQ Well brand across the country through landlord partnerships aimed at building community-focused shared spaces.
