PETALING JAYA (March 3): Armani Group has officially opened Oakwood Cameron Highlands, a 383-key golf-front serviced residence managed by The Ascott Ltd, marking a significant addition to its hospitality and lifestyle portfolio in Cameron Highlands, Pahang.

Located in Tanah Rata, the property occupies an elevated hilltop site overlooking the Sultan Ahmad Shah Golf Club, offering panoramic views across the fairways and surrounding highland landscape. The development’s direct golf-course frontage and vantage positioning distinguish it within the local hospitality market.

Residential configuration with extended-stay focus

The 383-key inventory comprises a mix of deluxe rooms, studios and two-bedroom family suites of up to 90 sq m. Selected units are equipped with full kitchens, washing machines and dryers, integrated workspaces, and dedicated living areas.

The residential layout is designed to accommodate extended stays, multi-generational travel, and golf-driven weekend demand.

Interior design follows the narrative theme “Whispers of the Highlands”, adopting a contemporary English-inspired concept that references the agricultural heritage and cool-climate character of Cameron Highlands.

F&B offerings include Oakbistro, the all-day dining restaurant, and Oaklounge, which overlooks the golf course. Supporting facilities comprise a gymnasium, 24-hour reception, on-site laundrette, complimentary WiFi, and housekeeping services.

Oakwood Cameron Highlands general manager Simon Yu said the scale and configuration of the property allow it to cater to multiple guest segments.

“The scale of the development and its hilltop golf-front positioning introduce a differentiated product within Cameron Highlands.

“The residential configuration allows us to cater to families, golfers, and corporate groups seeking both space and perspective,” he said.

With the opening, Armani Group strengthens its presence in the highlands hospitality segment, while Ascott continues to expand its serviced residence footprint in Malaysia under the Oakwood brand.

To mark the launch, Oakwood Cameron Highlands is offering introductory rates from RM388+ per room per night for deluxe rooms.
