PETALING JAYA (April 8): Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Board, has announced a collaboration with ParkCity Group to advance its township development.

Under the partnership, ParkCity will develop the largest parcel within Kwasa Damansara, measuring more than 400 acres, situated at the southeastern corner of Kwasa Damansara, said Kwasa Land in a statement last Friday.

Through its wholly owned-subsidiary, ParkCity Damansara Sdn Bhd, the group is set to undertake the construction of over 9,000 residential units, comprising a mix of landed homes and condominiums.

The development area, currently referred to as PJ East, is located in close proximity to key amenities, including the Subang SkyPark terminal, healthcare facilities, MRT stations, schools and a university.

“It is also adjacent to established townships and residential enclaves such as Tropicana and Kota Damansara, offering residents seamless connectivity and access to mature urban infrastructure,” said the statement.

ParkCity, known for its flagship township, Desa ParkCity in Kuala Lumpur, “was selected from a pool of shortlisted developers following a rigorous financial, non-financial and technical evaluation process”, it stated.

“ParkCity Group’s visionary concept for PJ East offers a diverse range of residential options to meet the aspirations of homeowners seeking to upgrade as well as investors looking for new opportunities,” said Kwasa Land managing director Datuk Adenan Md Yusof.

“Leveraging their extensive experience in delivering developments across Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak and Hanoi, we are confident that ParkCity Group will bring its distinctive DNA of innovation, quality and sustainability to this project, further strengthening Kwasa Damansara’s development ethos of being Green, Connected and Inclusive,” he added.

Meanwhile, ParkCity CEO Datuk Joseph Lau said: “Building on the success and lessons of our earlier developments, ParkCity Damansara represents the next chapter in our placemaking journey where we will further elevate standards of liveability, strengthen community building, and deliver long-term, sustainable value for the Klang Valley”.
