KUALA LUMPUR (July 27): Beverly Group plans to develop a RM1.1 billion luxury serviced apartment project on a freehold site within the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), marking its expansion into Kuala Lumpur’s high-end urban residential market.

The developer announced on Monday that it has acquired the 1.08-acre parcel through a joint venture company with Adamantine Capital Pte Ltd and MYM Land Sdn Bhd. The project is targeted for launch in the fourth quarter of this year.

Designed as a wellness-focused luxury development, the project will comprise 315 residential units with built-ups ranging from 688 to 3,600 sq ft. Indicative prices will start from RM1.7 million, while selected larger units will feature private lift lobbies.

According to the developer, the low-density project is aimed at affluent urban professionals, expatriates and investors seeking premium city-centre living. The TRX development also marks Beverly Group’s expansion into the luxury residential segment, building on the recent completion of Marc Service Residence in KLCC.

Phase 2 of One Equine achieves 85% Qlassic score

Meanwhile, Beverly Group also announced that Phase 2 of One Equine, its serviced apartment development located at Seri Kembangan, Selangor, has achieved an 85% score under the Construction Industry Development Board’s (CIDB) Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic).

Developed by Enso Development Sdn Bhd — a joint venture between Beverly Group and Singapore-based Surbana Jurong — One Equine comprised 2,819 serviced apartment and SoHo (small office/home office) units with a gross development value of RM1.02 billion. According to the developer, the project was completed this month, 15 months ahead of schedule, and has since been fully sold.

“This score reflects not only the completed physical works but also the discipline, planning, coordination and attention to detail demonstrated by the entire project team. We believe that quality must be incorporated at every stage of a development — from design and planning to construction, completion and the eventual handover,” said Enso Development project director YH Lee at the Qlassic certificate presentation ceremony held today.
