KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 12): Southern Score Builders Bhd’s (KL:SSB8) 51%-owned subsidiary SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM105 million contract for subcontract works on a data centre project in Puncak Alam, Selangor.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, Southern Score Builders said SJEE accepted a letter of award on Wednesday from an undisclosed local construction company.

The company said the contract comprises a subcontract works contract described as Electrical Package #3 (MV02 & MV03).

It said the project would commence on July 21, 2026, and is expected to be fully completed by Oct 14, 2027.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of the company and its group of companies for the financial year ending June 30, 2027 onwards until the completion of the project,” Southern Score Builders added.
