BANGKOK (Dec 4): Best Western Hotels and Resorts has launched a brand new upscale hotel, Best Western Premier La Grande Hotel, in Bandung on Dec 1.

“Indonesia is one of the world’s most exciting emerging markets, and as the country’s third largest city, Bandung is becoming a major hub for domestic and international business and leisure travel,” said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ managing director of International Operations - Asia in a press statement recently.

The 193-room Best Western Premier La Grande Hotel has eight meeting rooms and a business centre, a spa, heated swimming pool and a fully-equipped fitness centre. There is also a restaurant serving Indonesian, Asian and international cuisine.

Best Western Premier La Grande Hotel is Best Western Hotels and Resorts’ 16th hotel in Indonesia, in a portfolio that now covers nine destinations: Bali, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Surakarta, Makassar, Malang, Pontianak and Bogor.

It also becomes the country’s fifth Best Western Premier hotel, following the Best Western Premier Sunset Road Kuta (Bali), Best Western Premier The Hive (Jakarta), Best Western Premier The Bellevue (Jakarta) and Best Western Premier Solo Baru (Surakarta).

“The launch of our debut hotel in Bandung marks a major milestone for our company, and for the city, and I am delighted to be able to introduce the city’s rising number of travellers to our most prestigious hotel concept, Best Western Premier,” Berrivin said.
