MUI Properties Bhd (KL:MUIPROP) has declared a special dividend of eight sen per share, amounting to RM59.27 million, following the disposal of its Negeri Sembilan land to Gamuda Bhd (KL:GAMUDA) by a subsidiary.

Subscribers of Malaysia's Green Electricity Tariff (GET) will be exempted from a 1.6% surcharge on their electricity bills meant for the Renewable Energy Fund, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (Petra) said.

The same applies for low-voltage users that were registered under the Net Energy Metering (NEM) 2.0 scheme of 2019-2020.
