Sharol, who is the prosecution's ninth witness, provided the court yesterday with some examples of incidences that led him to believe Low, also known as Jho Low, had a strong rapport with the former premier.
Shahrol, the ninth prosecution witness who is expected to provide vital evidence and testimony in the 1MDB-Tanore trial against Najib, said he saw how Jho Low had demonstrated several times that he had easy access to the sixth prime minister and was "looking after Najib's interests from the start".
Shahrol, who would be the prosecution's ninth witness, is expected to testify of Najib's close relationship with Jho Low and the formation of TIA and 1MDB.
This came after Justice Nazlan dismissed Ku Nan's bid to recuse the former from hearing the case.
