She said with artificial intelligence (AI) technology incorporated into the building fabric, energy used to power lights, air conditioning and other electrical equipment can be tuned automatically based on the weather and number of people inside the building.

Currently, the plan to move the residents to PPRs is in a distant location. Community Development Leader (PPM) Reduan Aklee disagreed with such a plan. Instead, he suggested LPPB relocate them to nearby PPRs.

The group said the 18-month project will start on Feb 14. It did not disclose who awarded the project to the company.
