KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 2): A team of investigators from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) was seen at Menara Felda again today.

This is the third time in three weeks that the anti-graft body’s officers have visited the Felda Investment Corp (FIC) office.

Bernama reported that the MACC personnel were most probably there to take possession of documents to assist in a probe into the purchase of hotels in London and Kuching, Sarawak by FIC.

According to Bernama, the four officers arrived at Menara Felda at 10.17am.

MACC has so far made a number of arrests over FIC’s purchase of hotels in London and Kuching.

An ex-chief executive officer of FIC has been remanded up to Aug 4 to assist in investigation into the case of the hotel purchase in London.

A former special officer to a former Felda chairman was also arrested yesterday to assist in the probe into the Kuching hotel deal by FIC.
