KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 11): Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust (Hektar REIT) announced it will pay the second interim income distribution together with an advance income distribution for July and August, totalling 4 sen per unit on Sept 21, a day earlier than the scheduled Sept 22.

Hektar REIT said the earlier payment was due to the government changing the date of the Awal Muharram public holiday to Sept 22, from Sept 21.

The second interim income distribution is for the three months ended June 30.

Listed since December 2006, Hektar REIT — which owns retail malls in Subang Jaya, Melaka, Muar, Sungai Petani and Kulim — paused unchanged at RM1.27 at noon-break today, for a market capitalisation of RM586.23 million.
