KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 19): Water supply to Bandar Utama has been restored since midnight today following supply disruption owing to burst pipe yesterday.

A report by The Star stated that about 5,000 water account holders living in Bandar Utama 1 to 10 were impacted by the event.

“Based on Air Selangor’s regional office’s check, all 258 households that complained of the water cut confirmed that water has resumed Saturday (Oct 19) morning,” an Air Selangor spokesman told the daily.

The burst pipe yesterday caused a 3m stretch of road near First Avenue junction in Bandar Utama here to collapse.

It also caused a power breakdown at a nearby office tower.
