KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 27): The Cheras Christian cemetery here will be closed from Oct 29 until the conditional movement control order (CMCO) enforced in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya ends on Nov 9, City Hall (DBKL) announced today.

This means that the public cannot visit the graves at the cemetery or commemorate All Souls’ Day there during this temporary closure. All Souls’ Day takes place on Nov 2 every year.

However, DBKL added that burials and cremations will be allowed to go on as usual, subject to SOPs.
