• Country Heights said the full payment of RM142,698 to Fujifilm was settled on Sept 4.

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 30): Country Heights Holdings Bhd (KL:CHHB) said a winding-up petition filed against its wholly-owned subsidiary Golden Horse Palace Bhd (GPHB) has been withdrawn following a full settlement.

The petition against GPHB, the operator of the Palace of Golden Horses hotel, was filed by Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific Pte Ltd at the High Court last month.

In a bourse filing on Monday, Country Heights said the full payment of RM142,698 to Fujifilm was settled on Sept 4. Following the payment, Fujifilm withdrew the case on Sept 25, and the court order was served on Country Heights on Monday.

Country Heights added that the case is now regarded as closed and that the withdrawal will not have any material financial or operational impact on the group.

Fujifilm Business had previously obtained a default judgment against GPHB in January 2022.
