KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 7): KHK Land has announced an initiative with Bell Textron Inc to demonstrate helicopter connectivity at its Anyara Hills township. This makes Anyara Hills the first residential development in Malaysia, and Southeast Asia, to incorporate helicopter access for residents.

Located approximately 25 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, the township includes a dedicated helipad within its masterplan to enable air travel across Peninsular Malaysia.

“The concept arose during Covid-19, when people were confined to their homes,” said KHK Land executive director Datuk Indera Reeno Kong in a press statement.

“Tan Sri Kong Hon Kong (KHK Land founder) realised that typical bungalow projects offer limited space for a long-term lockdown. Here, each resident can own up to one acre, with the freedom to create a secure, self-sustained home environment.”

According to Bell Textron Asia business development director William Dickey, “This endeavour is not just business, it reflects friendship and shared values. Our customers are treated as family, and we look forward to building the future together with KHK Land.”

The initiative stems from a vision formed during the pandemic, when lockdowns revealed limitations of conventional housing layouts. The township sits adjacent to the Banjaran Titiwangsa rainforest and allocates over 70% of its area to green zones.

“We are excited to work with KHK Land to demonstrate how Bell helicopters can enhance the living experience at Anyara Hills, by providing greater connectivity for both personal and business needs,” said Bell Textron Asia-Pacific managing director David Sale.

Dave Hoong, KHK Land’s chief operating officer, said Anyara Hills combines accessibility and privacy.

“With the upcoming bypass road, residents enjoy the feeling of being in nature without sacrificing city connectivity, a balance unlike any other in the Klang Valley,” he said.

The one-acre freehold lots come with amenities including a lifestyle hub and natural hot spring spa. Security infrastructure includes more than 200 CCTVs, drone patrols and 24/7 armed personnel.
