PETALING JAYA (Nov 19): Malton Bhd's Bukit Jalil City has won the FIABCI Malaysia Property Award 2025 for outstanding Commercial Master Plan, adding to the company's recent local and international wins, including the World Gold Award (Retail) for Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Its executive director Datuk Hong Lay Chuan said the group leverages its strengths and diverse expertise to establish industry benchmarks in Malaysia's property market.

“By transforming communities into innovative and sustainable urban developments, we reinforce our commitment to connecting and empowering people. With a legacy of 45 years, we will continue to discover new ways to deliver high value creation to homebuyers,” he said in a statement.

Transforming Bukit Jalil into a vibrant urban hub

The 50-acre freehold Bukit Jalil City township is designed with sustainability, convenience and community in mind. It has become a popular address in the southern corridor of Kuala Lumpur.

The development is anchored by Pavilion Bukit Jalil Mall and includes luxury high-rise residences, commercial and office spaces, and Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur.

Since its launch in 2015, Bukit Jalil City has transformed the area into a lively destination for business, leisure and premium living.

It has created more than 15,000 jobs and supports about 1.9 million people in nearby communities. With improved infrastructure, connectivity and commercial centres, the development has boosted capital appreciation and rental yields in the surrounding area.

Meanwhile, the township’s Park Green Pavilion Bukit Jalil is a green-certified residence positioned as the top luxury address here.

Designed for a high-quality urban lifestyle, it offers exclusive Pavilion privileges and strong connectivity, including a covered link bridge to Pavilion Bukit Jalil and access to the 80-acre Bukit Jalil Recreational Park.

Bukit Jalil City is a walkable, self-sustaining township with fully tenanted retail and commercial shops, allowing residents to meet most daily needs on foot or by bicycle.

The township promotes a low-carbon lifestyle and continues to attract repeat homebuyers due to its convenient access to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya and the Southern Corridor via major highways.

It is also surrounded by key amenities such as the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Resort, and various educational and healthcare institutions.
