KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 18): Advancecon Holdings Bhd (KL:ADVCON) has secured a RM19.33 million contract for earthworks related to a proposed industrial development in Ijok, Selangor.
The project was awarded by Damai Jaya Realty Sdn Bhd. The letter of award was accepted by Advancecon's subsidiary on Wednesday.
The scope of works includes earthworks, soil treatment and ancillary site preparation activities for the new industrial project in Ijok. Work will start immediately and be completed by June 17, 2027, according to Advancecon's bourse filing on Thursday.
Group chief executive officer Datuk Phum Ang Kia said the award reflected continued confidence in the group’s execution capabilities in earthworks and soil treatment works.

"Selangor remains an important growth market for the group, and we are encouraged by the steady flow of industrial-related opportunities,” he said in a press release.
“We remain focused on disciplined execution, cost control, and maintaining high safety and quality standards as we grow our order book,” Phum added.
As of end-June 2025, Advancecon reported an outstanding order book of about RM754 million.
Shares of Advancecon rose half a sen or 2.56% to close at 20 sen on Thursday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM116.95 million. The counter is down 23.08% year to date.
