Just a day ago, SunCon disclosed that it had secured another work order worth RM570 million from an unnamed US-based multinational technology corporation to undertake core and shell works for a data centre project in Johor.

That project is expected to commence immediately and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2026, with the client retaining the option to award the mechanical and electrical fit-out works to SunCon, subject to final contract negotiations.

Earlier in May, the group secured two contracts valued at RM1.16 billion to act as the main contractor for two data centre projects awarded by a US-based technology company.

Following the latest wins, SunCon's total outstanding order book stands at RM6.4 billion. This includes new projects secured so far this year amounting to RM4.9 billion, encompassing the RM386 million work orders announced on Friday.
