KUALA LUMPUR (April 7): K Seng Seng Corp Bhd (KL:KSSC) has announced that two of its board of directors have resigned, citing personal commitments as their reasons.

In separate filings on Bursa Malaysiaon Monday, the group announced that non-independent non-executive director Dr Lim Pang Kiam and executive director Lee Hai Peng tendered their resignations, effective immediately.

Lim was K Seng Seng's previous group chief executive officer in 2023 before joining the board.

On March 28, the group also had new changes to its boardroom with Wong Pak Yii being named as the group’s new chief executive officer. He is also the non-executive chairman of Agricore CS Holdings Bhd (KL:AGRICOR).

Remaining members of the group’s board include Er Kian Hong, Datuk Low Chin Koon, and Teh Boon Beng.

K Seng Seng specialises in producing and processing secondary stainless steel products, including welded tubes and pipes, industrial fasteners, rigging components, sheets, round bars, flat bars, and angle bars. In addition to manufacturing, the group also engages in trading industrial hardware, particularly marine-related hardware and consumables.
