KUALA LUMPUR (May 7): Majestic Gen Bhd (KL:MAGEN) has achieved 100% take-up for its Gen Sphere freehold serviced apartment development in Johor since its launch in July 2025.
The project, which has a gross development value of RM837 million, is situated on 1.25 acres of land within the Johor Bahru city centre. It comprises 996 residences with built-ups ranging from 459 to 700 sq ft and prices starting from RM609,000.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, Majestic Gen chief executive officer Datuk Hoo Kim See said Gen Sphere is designed to meet the aspirations of a new generation who see Johor Bahru as a place of opportunity, connection and growth.

“Achieving 100% take-up at this stage is a strong affirmation of this vision, encouraging us to continue shaping living spaces that resonate with people and reflect the confidence of a city stepping boldly into its future,” Hoo noted.
He highlighted that the project is located 440 metres from JB Sentral and 700 metres from the Bukit Chagar RTS Link Station, offering direct access to cross-border travel.
Meanwhile, Majestic Gen executive director Ta Wee Dher said: “The RTS Link is reshaping the way people live, move and connect. Gen Sphere is designed in anticipation of this change, and the overwhelming demand shows that buyers recognise its value in a city entering a powerful new cycle of growth.”
The development also features a proposed direct connection to the existing link bridge at JB Sentral to enhance resident mobility.
