KUALA LUMPUR (June 16): Taghill Holdings Bhd (KL:TAGHILL) has secured a RM133 million contract to build serviced apartments in Kwasa Damansara, Sungai Buloh.

The group's wholly-owned unit, Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd, accepted the contract on Monday from Exsim MX4 Sdn Bhd, a unit of Exsim Group, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The contract — larger than Taghill’s market capitalisation of RM85.6 million — covers the construction of a 32-storey serviced apartment block under the D’Evia @ Kwasa Damansara (Package 2) project. The development will comprise 440 units and ancillary facilities.

Construction is expected to commence on June 16, and is slated for completion within 28 months.

The contract carries a performance bond of RM6.65 million, or 5% of the contract sum, said Taghill, adding that the job is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets during the project period.

As at end-February, Taghill’s order book stood at RM1.93 billion.

Taghill posted a net loss of RM2.74 million on a revenue of RM194.12 million for the third quarter ended Feb 28, 2026. There is no year-on-year comparison as the group changed its financial year end from Dec 31 to May 31.

Shares in Taghill, formerly known as Siab Holdings Bhd, closed unchanged at 5.5 sen on Monday, valuing the group at RM85.6 million.
