PETALING JAYA (Aug 5): S P Setia Bhd is inviting Malaysians to take part in its Setia Lenscape photography contest, offering a total prize pool of RM50,000 for photographs capturing everyday life across its townships.

Held in collaboration with EdgeProp Malaysia as the media partner and UCSI University as the academic partner, the contest is open to photography enthusiasts, S P Setia purchasers and members of the public. Submissions are open from July 6 until Oct 31.

The contest features two categories: Life in Setia, focusing on community, lifestyle and green living, and Iconic Setia, focusing on architecture, landscape and design. Both categories are open to Citizen Setia participants and the public.

Entries will be judged by representatives from S P Setia, EdgeProp Malaysia and UCSI University on theme relevance, creativity, technical quality and storytelling.

Participants may submit up to five entries per category. Each entry must consist of a single photograph in JPG, JPEG or PNG format, ranging from 3MB to 10MB, accompanied by a caption describing the image and its location.

According to S P Setia, the contest reflects its township planning approach, which integrates parks, public spaces and community facilities into its developments, encouraging participants to document both the built environment and the everyday experiences within its communities.

Participants may photograph locations across participating S P Setia developments nationwide, including Setia EcoHill in Semenyih, Alam Impian in Shah Alam, Setia Fontaines in Penang, Setia Eco Gardens in Johor and KL Eco City in Kuala Lumpur, among others.

More information on participating locations, submission guidelines and contest rules is available on the Setia Lenscape contest website at: https://setia-lenscape-contest.edgeprop.my/
