PETALING JAYA (Sept 22): HCK Capital Group Bhd has topped out the RM188 million Harvard Suites @ edusentral in Setia Alam, Selangor, marking the completion of the main structural works for the sixth and final residential tower of its edusentral development.

The property developer said in a press release on Saturday (Sept 19) that Harvard Suites is scheduled for vacant possession in 2027.

Edusentral, one of HCK's early Education City developments, commenced in 2017 and comprises six residential towers, lifestyle-office small-office (LoSo) and retail components, as well as Peninsula International School Australia (PISA).

The group said edusentral had undergone changes of contractors and faced uncertainty in the property market during the Covid-19 pandemic, but despite the challenges, the development's residential and commercial units have achieved almost 100% take-up.

HCK group managing director for operations and group management Datuk Dr Dennis Ling said the topping-out brought the group closer to handing over the homes to purchasers.

“More importantly, it demonstrates HCK's ability to consistently execute and deliver large-scale developments through close collaboration with our consultants, contractors, suppliers and business partners,” he said.

HCK has also acquired a neighbouring parcel of land for Edura Sentral, its next development in the area.

The group said Edura Sentral will feature smart-home technology, pet-friendly facilities and an integrated urban healthcare hub as it expands beyond its Education City concept into lifestyle-oriented developments.

Harvard Suites forms part of HCK's property portfolio, which the group said has a combined gross development value of about RM15 billion across existing and upcoming developments in the Klang Valley.
