KUALA LUMPUR: Melati Ehsan Holdings Bhd is expected to launch a bungalow residential project called Bukit Tengku@U10 Shah Alam early next year.
The project, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM300 million, covers 34.3 acres of leasehold land which it had acquired from Tengku Shahrudin Sdn Bhd this year.
A spokesperson from the company said the project comprises 160 units with the first phase offering 65 units.
The bungalows come in two variants, with land areas ranging from 8,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.
Type A has a build-up of 4,700 sq ft, 5+1 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, while the larger Type B has a build-up of 5,300 sq ft along with 6+1 bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Indicative prices start from RM2 million, said the representative.
Next to the Bukit Cerakah Forest Reserve, the bungalows have been designed to allow for a "seamless integration" of the project into its environs.
Earthworks have begun and infrastructure works have almost reached completion while the landscape, lake garden and clubhouse are in the midst of construction.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2013.
Melati Ehsan is a turnkey contractor known for its comprehensive construction management services.
Its other ongoing property development is Taman Ehsan Jaya in Pandamaran, Klang, a mixed development covering 15.89 acres with a GDV of RM500 million.
The project, which began in 2008, is scheduled for completion in 2012.
Its completed projects include residential projects Bayu Damansara and Bayu Perdana 2 in Kota Damansara and mixed-development Taman Ehsan Jaya in Johor.
