KUALA LUMPUR: Metro Kajang Holdings Bhd recorded a 52% increase in net profit to RM11.95 million from RM7.884 million a year ago for its fourth quarter (4Q) financial results ended Sept 30, 2010, the group announced on Monday, Nov 29.
Revenue earned for the same period, however, dropped 23% to RM73.56 million from RM95.80 million a year ago.
The basic earning per share for the current quarter under review rose to 4.97 sen from 3.28 sen a year ago. The net assets per share increased to RM2.80 from RM2.71 as at the preceding financial year end.
Metro Kajang is a Malaysia-based company that operates in property development and construction, and has numerous other services and investments.
