KUALA LUMPUR: Magna Prima Bhd's 10.86 acre Seri Jalil landed residential project in Bukit Jalil saw all 107 units of homes taken up within hours of the official launch on Friday, June 10.

The freehold RM126.5 million gated and guarded project residential offers 83 units of 2½-storey super link houses and 24 units of 2½-storey semi-link villas priced from RM957,000 to RM1.97 million.

The developments built-up size ranges from 3,345 sq ft to 4,162 sq ft, and construction is expected to commence during the second half of 2011 and to be conclude by end 2012.

Magna Prima executive director Lawrence Lee Yek Hui said that enthusiastic buyers made a beeline for the property developer's office from as early as 8am until late afternoon to secure a unit.

"We are thrilled by the market's response to Seri Jalil. Investors and owner occupiers were eager to own a property in a community that is slated to be set amidst pristine surroundings and a host of leisure and lifestyle facilities just a stone's throw away," he said.

Lee said that the excellent sales result of Seri Jalil is further testament of Magna Prima's vibrancy and its position for strong earnings rebounds in 2011.

Magna Prima is a public listed company, and involved in property development, construction, trading and management services.

Next in line for Magna Prima is the release of Phase One of the Boulevard Business Park along Jalan Kuching. This hybrid commercial development with a GDV of more than half a billion ringgit is slated for launch on June 22.
