KUALA LUMPUR (March 7): TSR Capital Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary TSR Bina Sdn Bhd has bagged construction jobs worth RM268.9 million from Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, TSR Capital said it has accepted the letter of award from Kwasa Land for the construction and completion of common infrastructure works for work package contracts WPC1B and WPC1C at the Kwasa Damansara Township Development in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

The project is for a period of 104 weeks and is expected to be completed by March 12, 2018.

TSR said barring any unforeseen circumstances, the project would contribute positively to its earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2016 (FY16) through FY18.

At the closing bell, TSR shares were up two sen or 3.81% at 54.5 sen, arriving at a market capitalisation of RM92.46 million. — theedgemarkets.com
