Shipping firm Shin Yang Group Bhd has entered into an agreement to acquire a 5.37-hectare parcel of land in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, from its controlling shareholder, Shin Yang Sdn Bhd (SYSB), for RM26.6 million in cash.

Rapid Synergy Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Rapid Precision Technologies Sdn Bhd (RPTSB), has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Osram Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, part of ams-OSRAM, for the disposal of two parcels of industrial land and buildings in Bayan Lepas, Penang, for RM35 million.

The upcoming facility, with a capacity of over 130 beds, will cater to individuals requiring specialised nursing care, regardless of age.

The China-based company said the RM600 million facility marks a significant milestone in SHB’s global expansion strategy. 

Eco World Development Group Bhd’s 81%-owned subsidiary, Mutiara Balau Sdn Bhd, has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Boustead Balau Sdn Bhd (BBSB) to acquire a 22.73-acre freehold commercial parcel in Mukim Semenyih, Selangor, for RM82.19 million.
