EcoFirst Consolidated Bhd said the vendors of its proposed RM45 million acquisition of two freehold land parcels in Penang have agreed to a further extension of the completion period under the sale and purchase agreements (SPAs).

This comes as the Cloud Framework Agreement (CFA 1.0) involving AwanBiru Technology Bhd (Awantec), Google Cloud Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Awantec Systems Sdn Bhd has been extended to June 2027.

The land has an audited net book value of RM4.36 million as at June 30, 2025, while its original acquisition cost in 1995 was RM497,902.
