Justice Datuk Wira Kamaludin Md Said, who led the bench, ruled that her testimony on Tuesday will not prejudice her and should continue at the High Court.

As of Oct 2, 87.2% of adult population in Malaysia has been fully vaccinated while 94.3% of adult population has received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Khairy also explained that the surge in new Covid-19 cases in Sarawak may be due to the early opening of certain sectors.

COVIDNOW data showed that 22% of the death cases came from partially vaccinated individuals, while only 8.3% were from fully vaccinated individuals.

By states and federal territories, the Klang Valley had the highest percentage in terms of the adult population that had been fully vaccinated at 111.6% (6,884,266 individuals), followed by Labuan (98.7% with 69,277 individuals completing their two-dose vaccination) and Negeri Sembilan (97.8% with 798,093 individuals fully inoculated).
