KUANTAN: The role of the Malaysian Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU) which till now only served as a monitoring body for the implementation of government projects, will now be expanded to resolve problems involving the projects.

PUCHONG: All non-Bumiputra lots (about 50%) for the first phase of Sierra 8, a project in the 16 Sierra residential development in Puchong, Selangor by IOI Properties has been booked in its soft launch on Friday Jan 29.

The first phase consists of 147 units of 2-storey terraced houses priced at RM448,900 each with a lot size of 22’ x 75’ and a gross built-up area of 2,257 sq ft.

Its revenue, however, eased by 6.88% to RM62.374 million against RM66.984 million recorded in the same period last year.

MBSA public relations officer Shahrin Ahmad said the first operation was carried out on Jan 19 against nine premises under the industrial and trade category in Section 17, 24 and 25.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunrise Bhd posted a net profit of RM34.52 million for the second quarter (2Q) ended Dec 31, 2009 and is upbeat for the remaining second half due to the locked-in unbilled sales of RM714.1 million as at Dec 31, 2009.
