IOI Corp has agreed to return native customary rights land to Sarawak villagers — report

The Borneo Post, quoting Sarawak’s Assistant Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Penguang Manggil, reported today that the community leaders and longhouse chiefs yesterday accepted IOI Corp’s offer to return the land in Long Teran, Long Labing and Long Lapok from the provisionally-leased area under its unit Pelita Plantantion Sdn Bhd in Tinjar.

Hard to trace money trail at NFC, says defendant’s witness

There is no way to trace that money went to the defendants and no way to trace if they had used the money for purposes outside NFC

To further encourage domestic tourism, the government has extended the exemption for tourism tax and services tax for hotel accommodation until Dec 31, 2021.
