KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 16): Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) shares rose 4.27% in active trade this morning after it  secured a contract in relation to the construction of the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Highway (DASH) for RM369 million.

At 9.03am, MRCB rose 5 sen to RM1.22 with 2.91 million shares traded.

MRCB said it received a Letter of Acceptance from Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd to undertake the contract.

DASH is a 20.1km three-lane dual carriageway connecting Puncak Perdana in Shah Alam to Damansara Perdana in Petaling Jaya.

MRCB said the 26-month project is anticipated to commence by end-August this year, to be completed by October 2019. — theedgemarkets.com
