PETALING JAYA (July 16): A student studying at the Dengkil campus of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) plunged to his death from the fourth floor of a hostel building yesterday, reported Bernama.

The 18-year-old science programme student was believed to have slipped off the balcony bar he was sitting on while using his phone, said Sepang district police chief ACP Abdul Aziz Ali.

“There was no foul play in the incident,” he said.

The body of the student was taken to the Serdang Hospital for post-mortem, he added.

Abdul Aziz said the case has been classified as sudden death and investigations are underway.
