Jazz began his career in accounting at a Big 4 firm, a dream job for many, but not for him. “I worked long hours, but the income just didn’t match the effort,” he recalled. Seeking a career where dedication directly translated to results, he discovered real estate.
Joining Gplex gave him the structure, support, and growth opportunities he needed. Focusing on high-value projects above RM500K, Jazz built a team from day one. By the end of his first year, he achieved Top Sales, earned his first six-figure income, and started investing in his own growth. Today, he leads his own branch and helps others build their path to financial freedom.
“I treat real estate like a business, not just a job,” he said. Daily habits like intentional planning, consistent online presence, and timely follow-ups ensure every opportunity is maximized. Weekly team reviews align both strategy and mindset, while ongoing learning in markets, psychology, and leadership keeps growth intentional.
Balance is also key: rest is scheduled as deliberately as work, so consistency becomes natural, not forced.
One of Jazz’s proudest moments in 2024 came when he helped a client purchase two commercial properties worth over RM1 million each. “I’ve met many agents, but you actually talk numbers that give me confidence,” the client said. Drawing on his accounting background, Jazz guided the investor through ROI calculations, rental scenarios, and portfolio review, resulting in two purchases in a single day. “I didn’t expect to decide so quickly but your clarity made it easy to trust the process,” the client reflected.
The year wasn’t without challenges. A slowing market and hesitant buyers tested his team’s patience. Jazz adapted by producing educational content, building deeper client relationships, and keeping his team aligned through weekly check-ins. The focus was on trust and value, not rushing transactions.
For agents aiming for their first RM200K, Jazz emphasizes three principles: treat real estate as a business with clear goals, sell the right projects on the right platform, and build trust before it’s needed. “You don’t need 100 buyers. Just 5–10 serious ones can change your life,” he advises.
For Jazz, success isn’t just about closing deals, it's about creating long-term value, empowering clients to make confident decisions, and building a career that rewards persistence, patience, and consistent effort.
