One of Rinna's proudest moments in 2024 was successfully closing a deal with an overseas buyer who was relocating to Kuala Lumpur. The buyer was initially hesitant about purchasing property in a new country. Rinna took the time to understand their lifestyle, budget, and long-term goals, guiding them through virtual viewings and complex legal and financing procedures. The hard work paid off when they found a home that was a perfect fit.
“The moment they told me, 'This feels like home already,' I felt truly fulfilled,” she said. "Helping them not just invest, but actually feel at home in a new country, reminded me why I love what I do.”
An ongoing challenge for Rinna has been the highly competitive environment, especially when multiple agents vie for the same client, often leading to a price war that confuses buyers and affects commission integrity. To overcome this, she focuses on building trust through transparency, professionalism, and service quality. She positions herself as a knowledgeable, reliable advisor who adds genuine value, rather than just competing on price.
"I’ve learned to manage expectations better and ensure buyers are more qualified and committed before presenting offers," she shared. "Every challenge has pushed me to grow stronger in communication, client education, and relationship-building."
For other agents, her advice is to stay consistent and persistent. She emphasizes that real estate is not an overnight success business and that consistent daily actions will eventually create momentum. She advises new agents to set clear targets, track their numbers, and treat their work like a real business. Ultimately, she believes that when you genuinely care about helping people, your reputation will grow, and so will your income.
